Went on site before watching Day 6 of Australian Open 2009 where we spent practically the whole night watching matches, most notably that between Richard Gasquet of France and Fernando Gonzalez of Chile. The match went to the the tie-break of the 5th set where Gonzalez eventually won after more than 4 hours of play.

Anyway, back to the house. The aluminum insulation sheet with the Simonds logo is now almost covered by bricks. Internal insulation has also been installed, same goes with the telephone & power lines, gas & water pipes and the vents for heating and cooling.

Looks like the lock-up stage will soon be over and it will be time for progress payments once again.

We will have to arrange pre-plaster inspection to ensure that everything is in order before plasters (walls and ceiling) are installed.

Great shots of the progress! Where do you plan to install the power unit for your ducted vacuum system? We cannot overlook this device in building a home. This can help prevent possible asthma attacks and allergies. I hope you post some more pictures! I'd love to see the house on its entirety.
